This tour is included in the registration fee for delegates.

Experience the world’s oldest living culture on a guided walking tour of the Royal Botanic Gardens, where the original inhabitants of Sydney gathered plants, seeds and roots for food and medicine. Discover how Aborigines produced a honey drink from the Banksia, roasted seeds from the Moreton Bay Chestnut and made fishing line from the bark of the Bolwarra tree. After a sumptuous lunch in the leafy surrounds of the Botanic Gardens, continue to the Art Gallery of New South Wales for an Aboriginal performance and guided tour of the Yiribana Aboriginal Gallery. Learn about the Dreamtime in this excellent permanent collection celebrating the diversity of indigenous arts in Australia.
